Most recently I was asked to do the Northwest Michigan Dining Guide cover art, this is the winter edition. Previously, I did the summer issue. It was alot of fun coming up with this still life. I actually went out and purchased the items and photographed various still life situations. This one was the nicest setting.

Casting Flies

This painting was done from a photo taken while spending a day on the AuSauble River near Mio, Michigan. We fished all day, and didnt catch much, but it was a glorious day. I caught sight of this fisherman when we stopped for a shore lunch.
